Quality Care Means Quality Bunnies
As an ethical breeder & responsible bunny owners, we prioritize bunny welfare over EVERYTHING. Our bunnies live inside and are part of our family. They receive the best feed, hay, and medical care. Our standard of care comes at a higher cost, but in turn, produces healthy, quality, & sweet companions. These costs are just a glimpse at what we put into our Rabbitry, not even the whole picture.
While I have a lot of people that support me, I do get those occasional messages asking me to lower my prices for them or saying "WOW that's way too much for a bunny". Before making these comments please consider what goes into running a rabbitry. We’re simply trying to make enough to keep our rabbitry up and running.
Spend some time seeing how the breeder runs things. RESEARCH your breeder and their ways. There's sooo many things that set apart the "cheap" bunnies from the higher priced bunnies. Does your breeder spend time with the bunnies? Are they handled often? Is your breeder experienced and knowledgeable? Is your breeder able to answer questions you have? Does the breeder treat with preventatives such as deworming, mites, etc. Someone with less bunnies is going to spend more time with them compared to someone that has 100+ bunnies sitting there. Look at pictures, watch videos, get to know the temperaments of the bunnies in the rabbitry. There’s a difference between bunnies sitting in a store waiting to be sold and a breeder that spends hours with their bunnies daily.
There's been times where people will find a cheaper bunny or one that is available right that second. Only to turn around and say they made a huge mistake and they can't even touch their new bunny and need help on what to do...PLEASE research a few breeders before you buy a bunny. This is an investment. You get what you pay for. Bunnies can live 10+ years. You don't want to get "stuck" with a bunny that isn't the right fit for you. Find a breeder that you like. Look at reviews or talk to other people that have bought bunnies from that breeder. There's not one breeder fits all. You need to find a breeder you like & can communicate with.
