U.S. Transportation

MDR does offer to meet with ground animal transports as well as meeting at one of our local airports for families flying in to pick up. We  also offer cargo shipping through Alaska Airlines. These options need to be approved by MDR prior to reserving a bunny. Please contact me before booking a transportation service. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding these services.  

 Your bunny will be fully inspected and I will send you photos/videos of them prior to drop off. You, the adopter, are responsible for finding and contacting the transport/shipping service. The bunny must be paid in full before I drop them off with the third party. The adopter is responsible for submitting required forms and paying the transport fees. Please send me confirmation that your transportation spot has been booked. Boarding fees will not apply within two weeks of the given weaning/go home date when holding a bunny to meet a third party. Every additional day past the two week mark that your bunny(s) stays with me, a $5 per day boarding fee will be charged. No refunds are given after the bunny leaves my care.

Ground Transportation:

Ground pet transports are a common service people use to transport their animals across the country. There are many small transportation businesses owned by certified and trusted people from all over. They pick up the bunny from the breeders location and deliver to the adopters location. They typically meet in a public area (unless discussed otherwise) where everyone has access to. You can find all the ground transport services on Facebook. Most post new cross country routes every other month. So if one doesn't work out, maybe the next one will. Most transport services require you to fill out a form of general information. Below I have listed some of my information to use on that form. A few transports require a certificate of veterinary inspection. This will be an additional cost to the rabbit.

Most ground transportation services offer a crate to secure your bunny(s) during transport. If MDR needs to supply a crate for transport, and additional $45 fee will be added to cover the cost of the carrier. I am able to drop your bunny(s) off within 25 miles of Thomasville PA, 17364. This applies to all transports with the exception of meeting at our local airport.

Below are the small animal transports that I commonly work with. Most public transportation services have new cross country routes monthly if you're unable to find a stop that works for you. If you have another transport service that you would rather use, that is not listed below, please contact me directly.

 *Cargo shipping is $550 which includes the air fair ticket and airline approved crate. If you adopt up to three bunnies in the same reservation than there is no extra fee for cargo shipping. 

 Cargo shipping is where your rabbit will fly in a temperature controlled section of the cargo where animals are safely secured. Plane transport is the safest way for rabbits to travel. Flights are much easier, quicker, less stressful, and more sanitary. You will pickup at the cargo facility at your approved airport. The exact address will be provided.
